How Successful Are Your Youtube Videos?

I just found an interesting ressearch for youtube videos at slate that inspired me to write this article. So, in this ressearch around 10.000 videos were tracked in a period of 31 days.

.

Here are the results:

- Around 80 % of the videos didn’t get more than 100 views.
- Around 65 % of the videos didn’t pass the 50 views mark.
- Only around 2 % of all videos got in the 500-1000 views range.
- And 1.4 % got in the 1000-2000 views range.
- 1.1 % got in the 2000-5000 views range.
- And only 0.3 % passed the 10.000 views mark.

This is some peety usefull information for measuring our youtube success. I thought about this for some time and than come up with a ranking system.
